Langtang region is 03rd popular area after Annapurna and Everest region, which offers magnificent rhododendron and bamboo forests in total ambience with stunning waterfalls flowing over giant boulders, breathtaking views of lofty mountain of Langtang Lirung, (7,200m/23,622ft), the entire region is surrounded by the second largest national park of Nepal, Langtang Nation Park which was established in 1976 considered as the first Himalayan National Park with an area of 1,710 sq. km. The main ethnic groups here are Tamang and Bhotias whose culture, tradition, language, custom and religion are of Tibetan origin. Tamang communities are very popular for their great hospitality and rich culture including rituals, traditional architectures, and costumes, this trip allows enough time to enjoy incredible local hospitality of the Langtang region.

The trek starts from Syabrubesi with 07 hours of interesting scenic drive from Kathmandu, then trekking through lovely lush forest and to an open glacial valley at Kyangin Gomba with awesome views of the surrounding high snow capped mountains and rolling green hill and valleys, the trek leads back with an alternative route for the drive back to Kathmandu after an enjoyable moment in the high hills and mountains with Brotherhood Adventure.

Overview

The trek is generally considered moderate, suitable for trekkers with a reasonable level of fitness and no prior high-altitude trekking experience. The maximum elevation reached on the main trek is around 3,870 meters (at Kyanjin Gompa), with optional hikes to over 4,900 meters at Tserko Ri. Accommodation along the route is primarily in teahouses, offering basic but comfortable lodging and local meals.
